Change Your Facebook Profile Photo - bhaktawitheing

I've made no secret of my antipathy for Facebook's interface, which is equal parts messy, confusing, and outright maddening.

For lesson, suppose you want to change your profile photo. Seems ilk the kind of selection you mightiness find in, read, Account Settings. Nope, not there. Seclusion Settings? Nuh-uh.

Well, maybe if you click your appoint to open your visibility, you'll find the option in that location. Let's see… no, there's nothing that says "change visibility photo." Oh, here we give-up the ghost, I'll bet if you get across Update Info…

Another strike. What's that, at present, four?

This is yet another of Facebook's ridiculously obscure settings that's actually hiding in plain sight. (Preceding offender: location joint.) To change your visibility photograph, do this:

1. Open your profile by clicking your name, either on the left side (below the Facebook logotype) Beaver State the right edge of the toolbar up top.

2. Sneak out over your current photo picture, click Edit Profile Picture, then choose an option (Choose From Photos, Upload Photo, Edit Thumbnail, etc.) from the drop-downhearted computer menu that appears.

That's right hand! All this time, the option was right there–provided you hovered your black eye in the right berth. Come happening, Facebook, you rump do better. (Quick note: If you happened to install one of the Facebook-photo-zoom tools I mentioned the other day, you may find that the pop-functioning image obscures the Cut Profile Picture tool. Bleh.)

There is, avowedly, other way to go virtually this. If you want to turn a photo that's already in your Facebook library into your profile picture, you can–but, once again, finding the pick can be maddening unless you eff where to look.

Find the pic you want, then click it to bring improving the full-size version in its own window. Now, see that midget cogwheel icon in the upper-right corner? Click information technology, and then choose Spend a penny Profile Picture. Wherefore there's not a button for this alongside Tag Photo, Add Location, etc. is beyond ME.
